Celica Forums General Discussion Engine and Performance B&M short throw shifter?

Hi i just got my B&M short throw shifter and i opened it up and it said that it's only for 2000-2001 celica? i have a 2002 GTS and i'm wondering if i still can install it ??? any help would be appreciated! Thanx

yes it will fit! when that particular ss that you have in your hand was manufactured, the year was probably 2001...therefor...at that time, that ss was only for 2000 and 2001...because 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2005 had not yet roled around. nothing has changed and it will fit...you just didnt get a brand new ss hot off of the assembly line.

So it isn't effected by the wider shift gates?
