I got most of the aem cai installed but i can't get the gray ecu adapter into the radiator shroud, its like it ain't even made to fit at all, just wondering if anyone who has the aem cai knows how to get it in.

i sugest you go and see someone who are experts in finding there way around things like that. It will be a safer alternative than doing it yourself if you know things arent working...

Yeah, spend the money to have a pro do it if you're not sure smile I'm not even attempting to put my CAI in by myself - my friend is coming over to help me out because he's done it before wave

i've installed the AEM CAI in my car. your talking about the 2-pice tube that connects to the radiator-thing and the ECU, right?

i was not able to fit the bottom piece into the hole again, because the CAI blocks/takes up too much space. you dont need it anyways, no harm will be done, but if you feel unsure about that, then do what i did...i attached the pipes back onto the ECU and cut the bottom piece and made it at the same height as the radiator fans. that way air will still flow into it and even more air will enter once the fans start spinning. thumbsup

hell if you are talking about those 2 piece i just threw the bottom piece out..i kept the top piece, the bottom is in my closet..since it don't fit with the cai in the way anyway..you don't need that tube..and for those of you that said he need to get professonal help, please..u haven't been around here long enuf..there are people here that just tose the entire tube..nothing is connected to the ecu and their car is fine..the only purpose for that hose is to provide air to the ecu to cool it..
