i didn't have mine chromed.. i had mine polished.. some do it themselves.. but i hear in person doesn't look that great.. i had it done at a polishing shop and it was like 55 bux or something.. getting it chromed will be waaaay shinier.. but i think chrome wont dissipate heat as well.. but shouldn't be a big deal
