Talking heads are beginning to whisper of Toyota's interest in NEXTEL Cup racing. They had great success in the "Goody's Dash Series" with Celica, and the Tundra is coming around in the NCTS. My question to all is this: What car will they use for NEXTEL? Which one matches up with the likes of Monte Carlo, Charger and Taurus?
Camry?
Avalon?
And...if Toyota does decide to enter the NEXTEL Cup, would you be more or less inclined to be a "fan?" wave cool

More then likely its goin to be the a Camry or something similar as you mentioned, as those are the cars that compete with the Taurus and MonteCarlo on the market. Toyota is probably goin to use the Tundra v8 again, but I think it may be regulations that they base the car on a production car that is already a v8, so maybe a Lexus variant would be used as the carmy is not v8 and Toyota would need to switch to RWD drivetrain. The SC400 looks like a good contender but its no longer in production or maybe a v8 IS.
