Well yesterday my Eibach sportlines came along with my Tokico shocks. I have a question though - since they are gas shocks, will I need to refill them ever?

I'll post pics later smile The TRD exhaust goes on tomorrow morning! WOOHOOO!

Thanks smile

^^ You don't have to refill them ever, they enclosed gas/liquid design that sealed from the factory.

I'm seriously interested in how the feel of it is afterwards. I was thinking of getting the exact same setup, but wasn't sure the Tokico could handle the Sportlines. Please give us your driving test impressions, like how it rides on smooth and rough roads.

Yeah I'll let you know tonight smile I've never heard of it not being able to handle the sportlines. I'll be on smooth and rough roads and freeway tonight so I'll have plenty of info I'm sure smile I can't wait, my ride's lookin hot!

tokico doesn't recomend you lowering ur car more than 1.75in with the HP shocks... you will void the warrenty (if you get it) and ur shocks will not last as long

Hmmm, I've never heard that. I'll have to look into it. These are the ones I got:

Tokico 2000 - 2004 HP series, non-adjustable, set of 4
Eibach Sportline springs 2000 - 2004 Approx. lowering- front 1.8", rear 2.4", set of 4

I don't see anything about the warranty.

Celiwhite I got everything for $480, PLUS they included a $20 check (Have no idea why LOL, but HEY, I'll take it!)

You may have problems in the rear, the spring rate for the Tokico HP shock and spring set is only 1.25"s. I'm having Tokico HP struts w/ Tein Stechs installed next week, a 1.5" drop. smile 1/4 inch lower than they suggest. Wheel and tire size makes a difference also. Hope it works out OK for you! thumbsup wave

LMAO now tht's some funny stuff!

After 4 1/2 hours of labor my Celi rides nice and smooth! Even better than before! They ordered me a camber kit so my tires don't wear out.

I tell ya though, those rear shocks are a PAIN IN THE A$$ to remove (stock ones). It was cool though, they let me help out and taught me a few things. The labor would have end up costing nearly $500 - but I got away with only paying $100 smile

I will post pics tomorrow as I'm beat right now and the garage is not a good place for pics at night smile It looks and feels great!

The ride is SUPER smooth on a smooth road, yet I did notice a bit of a pull, but that will go away after the camber kit is installed and I get it aligned.

On a REALLY bumpy road, the ride is "choppy" and not bouncy at all. I just drove slower and this fixed the choppiness.

Hope that answers any questions about my setup smile Good night!

Kristin
