i have an 03 sportshift gts. if i wanted to swap a 6 speed tranny in it, how much would it be for everything that i would need including ecu and w/e.

but to answerthe question about $2000-$4000 depending on alot.

buy a new car...keep all aftermarket stuff and sell it

Transmission (Code#C60 for GTS 6spd) - make sure you have all brackets and mounts to connect to engine and car frame.
ECU (Code#89666-20082 for GTS 6spd)
Master clutch cylinder assembly +
Plastic fluid reservoir (For clutch/brake fluid container)
Release clutch assembly (if you buy used tranny should b on it)
Clutch kit - Pressure plate, Clutch disk, Overbearings..
Clutch bolts ( 6 ) - Must be new from dealer
Clutch/Brake pedal assembly.. make sure clutch pedal comes with bracket behind the actual pedal. For the brake you just need the pedal , you can use auto bracket
Clutch switch-came wit my tranny
Reverse switch-came wit my tranny
Cruise ctrl.. switch on clutch bracket- i had it but dunno if alex put it on. Dun really care.
Right side axle support brackets
Flywheel
Flywheel Bolts ( 8 ) - Must be new from dealer
Shifter linkage (includes 2cables with bracket)
Shift boot
Shift knob
Shifter with console
Front motor mounts
Slave cylinder
Lines from clutch master to clutch slave (2metal pipes and rubber hose)
Wire harness - Alex can run wires to ur reverse and clutch switchs..
Tranny fluid and stuff.

Alot of work + cash. I say keep the sport shift. Autobots are not that bad.

yeah maybe just build up the auto tranny and get some higher hp numbers and the manuel to auto difference will lessen

Would that same list of parts work for converting a GT Auto to 6-spd? I've read that the 6-spd tranny will bolt right up to the 1zz motor.
