Congrats on the new car.

Can you share any details on how the Celica is beat? I'm always interested in hearing first hand accounts of how 7th gens hold up to heavy use, time, the elements, and hard driving.

What are your parting impressions about durability?

it's only beat because my car is show quality...but goes through nj weather and shit roads...but it held up well to all this
only problems is that the body kit is really beat
the wheels need some balancing..possible a new tire now
air/fuel gauge messed up the idle/throttle response
makes some weird noises while idling

any more info to the a/f gauge and the idle. mine is suffering from this i believe, never thought about it until i read this. it seems to chug off the go now. like i have 3 cylinders to propel me to 3500-4000 rpm or so. and the idle is fine for like 30 seconds, then goes to hell. are we on the same page? if i remove it, will this end?

yep...it is from tapping into the stock air/fuel wire...
if you take off your gauge, and reconnect everything back to normal, it'll go away.

the air/fuel gauge wire under the passenger left side footwell carpet...it's the the blue wire in the plug that is closer to the firewall...

^^it is the first blue sti with the 2nd rims.

blue sux, but its registered as a wrx color, and that could never be wrong on an sti.

congrats on the car, just be careful cz that things fast.

sux that you putting ur celica on auction, such a precious thing going on auction and who knows who the hell would buy it.

i guess you finally got wut you wanted, better keep it longer than the celica and be happy about wut ur family could provide u.
