Alright, I'm sorry I don't have any pictures to back this up, but I had the most amazing weekend ever. My bday wknd too at that.
I test drove an amazing number of cars today. From first to last: 2003 SVT Cobra, 2002 BMW 325Xi, 2003 BMW X5, 2005 Audi A4 3.0, (revved up) 2003 and 2005 Subaru WRX.
It all started after lunch. I was with my dad and we were driving the new X3 out to Best Buy to pick up a flash-drive for me. I noticed a yellow mustang in the Saturn lot, but upon close inspection, it was a cobra. Anyways, we kept driving. On the way back, i wanted to see the Cobra. Then I found it was a SVT model. Hot poopy, I had to drive it. Salesperson was real friendly and let me at it. Then we stopped by the BMW dealership we got our car at, where I proceeded to also test out a 325xi. My dad wanted teh X5 for kicks, so we both got a small feel for the car. Next door was the Audi dealership, where I tested one of the new A4's. Lastly, we stopped at Subaru dealership. I would have taken a WRX on a spin, but we were short on time, and only got to rev up the engine.
Commentary- SVT Cobra: the most insanely powerful car I've ever been in. The supercharged 8 was too much damn fun. $30K, 18k miles. Yellow. 325Xi: very very balanced car, very nimble as well. I think BMW's transmissions are notchy and kind of long in their throws. X5: it's a damn SUV. That's all. A4: I don't like the interior. Doesn't feel that tight and it totally felt awkward. Engine is just meh. (after driving that cobra, anything is just "meh") WRX: I love this thing. I think that's what my next car is gonna be. 05 model hopefully.
Anyways, that's my saturday afternoon in a wrap.

Holy shit, I was shaking after driving the SVT Cobra. That thing has SOOOOO much power. The EVO i drove a few month back felt like it ain't got nothing on the SVT on the straights.

How did the Evo feel like it was nothing to the Cobra. I am pretty sure Evo is the Same if not faster then a cobra EVO felt a lot nimbler in its steering. Also, turbo lag. The SVT just took shot off of its starting point. Something to shit your pants to. Was that at Saturn of Colorado Springs, over there west of I-25? No, saturn of Highlands Ranch, right off of C470.
