The antenna is a simple cheap mod that does a lot for the appearance of the car, and I would like to do it. My question is how to do it if I have a power antenna. I can't just unscrew it and put the new one on, so how is it done and what does it involve?

You have to remove the panel in the trunk & remove the power antenna motor. I would keep the power antenna if I had one.

Exactly, and that's why I want it gone. Right now I have it on a seperate switch since I replaced the stock headunit and didn't want it up all the time. But if I remove the power ant. assembly, I'll have a hole in the car, and I need to know what to replace it with so I can attach the S2000 antenna.

yea its a lare ordeal to put a s2000 on a power. you need ot get a baseunit off a stock celica and take out ur entire power antenna unit. i personally liek the power vetter becasue when its down it looks much nicer and cleaner. yea it sucks open but jsut play cd's
