Why do you ask? There was some sort of brake recall on early model celicas but I am pretty sure that was only some 2000 models. I know my 2002 model had to get my gas tank checked out because some of the celicas gas tanks didnt tell the pump when it was full and would keep pumping out gas. Not sure all the years that called for but I am sure someone else can answer that.

Ive got this as well. Put a blow dryer on it. Boring like hell, but it works. If it doesnt come back that is.

naw i was looking online ,and it said
summary:
WASHINGTON -- Toyota Motor Corp. is recalling 92,577 Celica cars because their daytime running lights are too bright and could be a hazard to oncoming drivers, federal regulators said Wednesday.

The recall affects Celicas from the 2000 and 2001 model years. Dealers will repair the vehicles for free beginning in March, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said.
dealers will install a resistor, which will decrease the luminous intensity of the drl. the recall is expected to begin during march 2005. owners should contact toyota at 1-800-331-4331.
