how do you take off the mirrors on the visor w/out breaking it? confused

Good luck. I tried to take mine off without breaking them to put in my monitors and failed. They are held on with a very very tough glue. The only way I think it to try and cut around it, including the cardboard on the back.

I guess I'll have 14 years of bad luck tongue
