What are the chances of the carbon fiber hood flying off... i want to go without hoodpins til i order some good ones... my hood doesnt fit awesome but it latches down with a raised hood scoop? is this safe to go for about 2 weeks without hood pins in?

.00000000005%, Hood pins are for looks and rarely for security. Most hoods now have the latches molded into the hood and as strong if not stronger then OEM. In the event of a crash they may help...but you're fucked anyways so really...you're fine your without them

I don't know. I've seen pics of 2 cars where it flew up in the last 3 years. Better safe than sorry in my opinion.
