want to change clutch on my gen 7 celica 1.8 vvti 2000 model does anyone know if i can take out the clutch without removing the subframe underneath i have heard you have to do that seems a lot of work just to change clutch any tech help would be gratefull

Yes you do have to remove it to get the tranny out. Pretty much any engine work under the hood is a bitch on a 7g celica tongue
