Ok soo i have a 2000 Celica GTS 188k miles with short ram cold air and GReddy installed headers back this is how i bought the car. Im looking for a solid power boost mostly for fun and summer driving. I i don't want to turbo for a couple reasons #1 cost more after the boost ctrl and timer and all that #2 "they produce a dramatic rise in air pressure, resulting in instantaneous large horsepower increases""due to the very rapid increase in power, is the effect on the transmission components, all turbo's wear out clutches and gearboxes more quickly" #3 they get a little tricky to control because there are soo many variables #4 i have heard installing a turbo on a celica can be a painful job =P anyways

ending with about 200-225whp (guesstament)
trying to keep it under $10k
now another thought i was having was possibly setting up a centrifugal supercharger on it. what attracts me to the centrifugal is that i wont have much power under 3k rpm soo daily driving might conserve fuel in the summer? and another thing is when im actually beating on it im around 3-7k rpm and those high rpm ranged a centrifugal will work GREAT but i have heard superchargers tend to trail off after 3k rpm soo i don't know help me out guys =)
