Hi all. I have a Celica 1990 and I'm trying to replace my stock stereo with an aftermarket one. Everythings okay so far but I'm stuck after removing the cigarette lighter. The wires are too short for me to just move aside the panel so I have to unplug everything. The problem is I don't know how to remove it and I don't want to break it. In fact, I don't even know what the wires for so I took a picture. It's the yellow pluggy thingy.

It looks like it would just pull out. Did you try pulling it out of the back of cig lighter or the two male n female of the yellow one?

That should be a clip.
If you don't know how to remove wires/unclip them then I don't know if you should be installing a head unit by yourself.
