have any of you guys taken any of the under plastic off under the motor and attached to the front bumper. Mines is barley hanging on there with only a few clips left. will it be OK to drive with them not being there. I live in New England so mind the weather (rain, snow, etc) thanks. 2000 gts

That's just a splash / brush guard piece. I assume it probably holds some aerodynamic properties but they're negligible. You can remove it and it wont cause any damage directly, but you will open up a new area for junk like rocks and fallen limbs to get lodged up into. If you have a CAI installed that hangs way low you will be asking for water damage.

thank for our opinion wasn't sure if i should take them off and increase the risk of water damage don't have an intake so i wont have to worry about that. It should be just 3 pieces of plastic right?

More specifically, here is the undercarriage showing just the front part with the plastics cut -- to make it easier to swap out the front bumper often:

The two center undercarriage plastics were cut just under the radiator, but ahead of the fasteners that keep the rest of the plastics attached, leaving those fasteners untouched. The wheel-well plastics were also left untouched, and have had no problems with them after driving through several bad rain storms and driving sometimes over 100mph/160kph speeds.
