What is this metal round can? May be a relay or a delay. I had a video system installed and I'm trying to disable the safty feature. (These are in my shift boot)

The yellow and black wire here is spliced in to my break wire. I can remove it. What are the two white connectors that aren't connected to anything? What should they be connected to? could someone please look for me? Everything seems to work fine with them like that. Just grounding this safety wire doesn't seem to fix anything. On my unit I have to pull the hand break up and down twice to see video.

i just checked my shifter thing and i dont have anything like that in there at all. I have a 00 GT, there is no re;ay/delay and there is no connectors other than the ones that go into the cig lighter.

I just looked under my shift boot and I too have the silver relay thinggy. It has a piece a foam wrapped around with a zip tie. I have no idea what it does but, at least you know that someone else has it. Isaac might know. idunno

I'm gonna take your little Civic. Dust it off. Turn it sideways and stick it straight up you candy A*s.

I have one too ... oh and when you took apart your center console were those wires and connectors originally hookup to anything ???

If not then don't sweat it ... if they were and you took them apart and now you can't remember I can't help you because I have no idea what they do.

I never mess with stuff until I know what it does and wherer it goes to.

Good Luck thumbsup
