okay I've posted about a exhaust on here b4 and I've come to the conclusion that I wanted the trd exhaust.. but I cant see spending 500 on it then spending even more on installing it. so my question is that I've seen a lot of wrecked celica gts's online and they are selling the muffle for 60 dollars so is that the trd one that im looking for or is it the exact same thing that's already on my car?

According to the 2006 TRD Parts Catalog, there are four different TRD Sport Mufflers.

'00-'05 Celica GT:
PTR08-20000-05 Muffler
PTR08-20000-08 Muffler for use with extend tip for use with rear valance (such as TRD Action Package)

'00-'05 Celica GTS:
PTR08-20000-06 Muffler
PTR08-20000-07 Muffler for use with extend tip for use with rear valance (such as TRD Action Package)

The main exterior differences between the GT and GTS TRD mufflers are the piping locations and the hanging bracket location. TRD Exhaust systems are "bolt-on" replacement exhaust parts.

If you purchase correct TRD exhaust for your vehicle, you can install it yourself in under an hour, using only a vehicle jack (I recommend ramps & wheel braces). I managed to swap out my stock exhaust for a TRD exhaust in under an hour, by myself, using only the tools & directions listed in this link:
https://celicahobby.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/topics/18979/Exhaust-How-To-Remove.html

NOTE: I did not have to purchase a new set of rubber hangers since I did the swap at less than 800 miles, but if you needed to, they will set you back less than $20 at your local PepBoys/AutoZone/Napa Autoparts...etc.

Also review this link:

Any other exhaust that is not "specific to your year and trim" Celica, will probably need professional installation by someone with welding tools.

Whoops, I forgot to add:

The stock exhaust on GT and GTS are not TRD. In general, a TRD Exhaust can be identified by the TRD engraving on it... along with several other visually distinguishing features, but that is the simple one to look for.

Here is a photo gallery comparing only the TRD Exhaust TIP vs stock exhaust:

Installation is simple; only two hangers and two bolts. Here is a gallery of the under carriage of a Celica GT with TRD Extended Exhaust:
