Celica Forums General Discussion Engine and Performance Can anyone here help me out

Well Guys,

First of all as you know, i purchase a 00 Toyota Celica GT, Few thing to fix, But most important thing i heard that i have to fix so far is the Motor Mount,Shock,So far that all i know but since i'm new to celica i'm not an experts so today i'm here cause i got a problem i need help with.

Don't know if it a wheel problem,engine or motor mount, But whatever i turn on my car engine, it make a loud rumble noise, I do not have a custom exhaust at the moment, still stock exhaust.

Anyone know a reason why my car make that loud rumble noise when engine is on? It keep making that noise til i turn off my engine.

Is it a big fix or small fix? And what problem is that, can anyone pint point me to the right problem? Cause that is what concern me the most, I just got it and my mom sat with me today she told me that it give her a big heachache, she even told me to get another celica.

Any idea?

Bad motor mounts can cause all sorts of havoc on your engine and if not replaced soon, can cause many expensive problems for the rest of your vehicle.

Have your vehicle inspected by a certified AES professional, and get those motor mounts replaced ASAP -- unless you're going to follow your mom's advice and just get a different car
