I'm looking for standard floor mats for the 2001 model, and have found new oem mats for the 2003 model - will they fit? I know that there were some dimension changes for 2003 (fenders, etc), but don't know if the interior was changed. Of course, we talking floor mats, I'm sure they'll probably be close enough...

Cosmetic updates were made to the 2003 Celica's urethane front bumper, head & tail lights, and available body colors. Obviously, other than the available paint options, these are all bolt-on parts and are interchangeable with any other localized Celica in the same generation.

For the overall structure, the 7th Generation Celica (2000-2005) are the same dimensions.

I'll order the mats today... the originals are looking pretty worn.

Stock floor mats should last the average daily-driver around 10 years / 150k miles of driving. If your current mats are from 2001, you've done very well

If you need to purchase rear mats, generic "compact vehicle" aka size small, will work just fine. It's a simple $16 (from pepboys/autozone) replacement that look and work just as well as stock rear mats, for only a fraction of the price.

Also, a really good vacuuming followed by a thin layer of Fabreeze on the floor and the mats, then left overnight, will get back an almost "new car scent" for a good while. Don't let the Fabreeze set on your plastics or leather areas - simply wipe it off with a dry towel if it does.
