^^^ehhhhhhhhh...wrong, unless you have a GT or GTS without premium system then you ok..if you do have an amp (on the right side, behind the glove compartment) like i do then u're pretty much screw, like i am..it's hard as hell, i haven't been able to figure out either...noone in here seem to have pictures of exactly what to do..hope someone does soon, because i'm tire of the stock headunit..oh yeah if you gonna have a shop do it, they'll rape you on the prices, chances are they might have to keep ur car for a fews day, atleast that's what i've heard from some people..

I had the oem amp, and sucessfully bypassed it. I have no pics... but all I did was remove the wiring and use a digital multimeter to trace the signal from each speaker to the amp input. All the colors are pretty much consistant from one end to the other.

The only problem I did have, I couldn't find to correct after market wiring harness. I improvised by using speaker wire and splicing in the factor harness. It sucks I had to do it that way, but I found no support otherwise... It now looks great and works really well.

Good luck, pm me with any questions, I will be glad to help.

You can just bypass the amp and hardwire your radio in. thats what I had to do. just play around and figure out what wires are what. I also had to put a cross over in for my tweeters.

you could just by the new harness from www.crutchfield.com [crutchfield.com] and save your self a ton of time and headaches.

Yeah I have pics up from an install I did on it. Not sure why it's not in installs section yet. I'll find it and link it.

I'm glad someone finally decided to post an install guide for this. The first thing I did after getting my Celi was was replace the entire stock stereo system with my own aftermarket and it took me a day alone to figure out how to bypass the factory amp in the car. It is possible as long as you know what wires to splice into. There is no wiring harness for the Toyota GTS so you have to do it the hard way. I did mine like 7 months ago and it's still the best system on the block. :-)
