How To Install The AVS Window Visor

This is a fairly quick and easy install, very satisfying and it looks cool.

You're going to need the following:
* A Set of vent shades to install. They should already have the double-sided 3M tape affixed.
* Some alcohol swabs.
* A small bottle of isopropyl rubbing alcohol.

The first thing you should do is prep your mating surface which will be the rubber weather stripping above your window.

Clean it carefully. Let it air dry.

Because it was somewhat cold, I let my vent visors warm up by my AC vents while the heat was on. This will warm up the glue and help it bond better.

Line up your vent shades to ensure proper fitment.

Start peeling at the end that will be towards the front end of the car. Peel only a few inches at a time to avoid dirt on the adhesive surface as well as the visors sticking to unwanted areas.

Align the visor shade with the trim of the vehicle.

Press down firmly for the glue to make contact.

Be sure to align your visor shade properly with your window trim so you dont run into any problems later on.

Continue peeling the adhesives backing only a few inches at a time. Always press down firmly so there are no flaws.

At this point, open your door with your window in the closed position. Check for any touching or clearance issues between the window glass and the visor shade.

Once the adhesive backing strip has been removed and the visor shade is attached, press firmly throughout the contacting areas.

Now stand back, and enjoy!
