Hey! I just bought my first car, a 2004 celica. I got the oil changed about 1,100 miles ago and I just noticed that the oil level has dropped! Could it be because the car is on an incline (since it's in my driveway) or has the car been burning oil? I only use full synthetic oil in the car and I'm positive that there are no leaks. I heard that this was an issue for the 00-03 models of the celica.

Well the car is fairly old, and the engine is at 151k miles.

I was talking to a friend of mine earlier and he said that the oil I use in the car isn't thick enough, (I accidently picked up 5w-20 instead of 5w-30), but he reccomends that I use something even thicker than the recommended since I live in florida. (I'm assuming you use thicker oils in hotter places?)

The car isn't burning a terrible amount of oil, It was just something I noticed.
