Hey Guys and Gals,

I am a Lotus owner who is going down the road that most lotus owners don't approve of, and that is I am doing a turbo build. My questions are (my first turbo build ever), do i need a fuel return line with my set up? And what is better for quicker spool rates atmospheric blow off or recirculating blow off?

Parts/build specs:
Male 9.0:1 pistons
Cosworth 0.38 head gasket (bumps CP ratio to about 9.3:1)
Piper stage 2 cams
Super tech valves
Eibach valve springs
Arp head studs
Force-fed 275 tubular manifold
BW Efr 6358 turbo
Walbro 455lph in tank fuel pump
ID1000 injectors
A2w intercooler (looking at one from frozenboost.com)
Blow off valve (depends on answers)
Turbo smart boost controller
And tuning from Fast works by BOE in Kansas

Thanks for your help and info.

I believe I found my fuel return line answer. It appears that as of 2001 all vehicles went to an in tank fuel regulator and return line setup. This was a federal requirement to meet better emissions. As it kept the fuel cooler and did not let it vaporize due to heat from the engine on the return trip from the engine.

So if this is true, then that would mean I have no need to install a fuel return line as there is already one setup in the system.
