I just bought a 2003 Celica gt, and I've been doing my usual routine of going over the car and changing fluids/checking everything over. I disconnected the battery to clean the terminals and when I reattached the battery the alarm started going off. I left them disconnected for several hours and tried to reconnect them and the alarm continued to go off.. Surely there is an easy fix for this that one of you can point out to a Celica newb like me.

Have you tried to push the button your your alarm remote control?

There may also be a switch on the driver's side, near the dead pedal that you can flip.
