Hi everyone! I've just recently picked up a manual 2000 Celi GT from some sketchy guy who sold me it through his brother's dealership. I'm a complete noob when it comes to cars but took it anyway because I need to learn and I also fell in love with the Celica.

Anyway, after replacing all of the tubing for the SRI that was incorrectly installed (I think), I wanted to check my engine for leaks.

Of the 4 bolts that hold the plastic engine cover, 1 was missing (the long one that extends through the plastic cover and into the threads of the gasket cover). After getting the plastic cover off, I inspected the rest of the bolts that hold the cover that goes over the gasket, and saw about 2 or 3 bolts that were missing there as well.

Where can I find just these specific bolts? An entire set for the whole gasket cover and plastic engine cover would be awesome, but individual bolts will work too!

Problem solved! I made my own.

I also made the nut that goes over the cover. The hex wasn't precisely machined, as the finish was the least of my concerns.

Check it out:
