Hi I owned my beloved GT for a few years, blood sweat and tears, finances and time...you name it. I am trying to get her back on the road ASAP and installed a new Magnaflow exhaust. I cant seem to figure out what to do, hangers (check) middle clamp check, adjustments, check, 2bolt flange hmmmmm....

The bolt doesnt penetrate the nut (no pun intended). Im not sure if I need another tool, I have a regular wrench because Im not fancy and only get under the car to change oil plus ratchet sets are fairly expensive when you realize $70 went toward something you legit dont use. I just want to know how to tighten the bolts so the flange isnt so imo suspect. Please help a brother out

(I definitely have been a ghost watcher of many threads and only signed up for this question. Judge me if you will but dammit I need help)

Never mind....figured it out. 2 wrenches and some patience got my problem solved. False Alarm

Saw this thread revived. Let me know how the Magnaflow sounds, a local guy has one for sale.

So, in the interest of saving about $200, I went with a slightly cheaper pipe.I got the Invidia N1 Cat-back. It sounds awesome. Deep and throaty like it has a bigger engine in there. Haha. I get pops and burbles when shifting too. Very nice, even without the added power from the Magnaflow's shape. Check it out here:

Don't worry about what it says about the fitting. If it fits a 1zz, it'll fit a 2zz (when it comes to a cat-back pipe anyway).

How loud is the Invidia exhaust? I'm thinking of either getting that one or the Magnaflow one.
