Hey all, I recently put in my new Halos on my 2001 Spectra Blue GT. As well as tails, interior lighting, etc., but that's not what this post is about.

I was wondering if anyone knew a process to change my DRLs from my high beams at a lower amperage to my halos?

I understand that the DRL function is the high beams at their lower power, but I wanted to simply rewire it so that my halos will be on during the day, instead of my highs. I also want the halos to continue to be on at night.

As of right now the halos are wired to the parking light function, which would be fine except for the fact that switching on my parking lights also illuminates the rear lights, which isn't acceptable during the daytime.

I initially thought about simply splicing in the halos with the high beams so they would both be on, but then I luckily realized that would mean my high beams are on with my halos at all times, and that would not be good for the other drivers.

I also considered having the halos on their own switch routed to my switch panel inside, and just having to switch them on (and remember to switch them off) when I want them on and off. Then I would just do the DRL disable mod through the fuse box.

However, I need to know If there is a simpler way that I can go about this.

Thanks for any help you can provide! smile
