Does anyone have recommendations for a good summer tire, as well as some high performance snows for a 2000 GT? Have seen some tire posts, but most are old and referring to old tire models. Does anyone have any recommendations for a great summer tire and winters also? Are Blizzak tires good for winter on a Celica?

I recommend that you upgrade to bigger rims and wider tires. I currently am running 18s wrapped in 225/40/18...

Hey Scott, thanks for your suggestion, I didn't even know that was possible. Problem is I'm too poor at the moment to afford new rims, as well as tires, but I understand that I'd be wider/more solid on the road. So why/how did you end up choosing a 225/40/18 tire size?

Do u use that size all year? A 40 sidewall is pretty thin and could blow easy, no? Can you recommend any specific current models of summers and snows?

When I needed new tires for my 1997 Celica ST 3 years ago I found the 205/55/R15 tires were basically no longer available. I found some Falcon 195/60/R15 tires at Pep Boys for a good price. Pep Boys was very helpful even though they were not the "correct tires."

The results are terrific! The tires feel so much better and the speedometer is right dead on. The Odometer reads a bit low, by about 3%.

I guess you mean Falken? There's some pretty peed off customers though who aren't very happy about their Falkens, enough to turn me off anyways. I'll keep researching, but the Falken HS449 is not recommended.

Thank you.: My dad for helping me out with the engine, and Gary's Custom Painting in PA for the bodykit!
