Hi. I bought Raceland coilovers for my 7th gen. The rear coilover is poking through the hole and sticking out where it shouldn't. Could it be the missing bump stop plate(washer)? confused

Also should the bump stop be above or below the bushing (or spacer??) which sits on the piston?

[Linked Image from s33.postimg.cc] [postimages.org] Can a missing bump stop plate (washer) cause this problem? Also Raceland supplied me a bushing (looks like a spacer - check pic). I'm wondering if I need it at all...it can be oriented in two ways and it sits on a lip on the piston. Thanks in advance for the help.

you do need to have that little bushing.if you are putting the coils at the lowest setting then they won't work, they put more threads on the coil then are usable. make sure that you tighten the nut down all the way. it looks like you might be trying to go too low. i have racelands and they feel fine with a 2 inch drop but anything more and they get loud and bounce all over the place
