Hi peepz!
I have a manual transmission '03 Celica GT. From a dead stop, I'm always left behind by cars beside me. Trucks, SUV's, Corollas all pass me.
I shift at 2000 rpm - 2500 rpm. Surely those vehicles, mostly automatics, shift at around the same rpm as me, right? I would like it if the car kept up with the traffic. ( I don't and won't shift at 4200 rpm or redline in normal driving) Is there anything wrong with my car?
Anyone with the same experience? What rpm do you shift at?
