So I might be getting a 4th gen celica sometime after the water beyblade goes down (hurricane) and the only issue is that the engine is seized (3S-GE motor) and I dont have the 900$ to go and just do that. I found a civic with a b20 motor and is selling the whole thing for $350 which is also a manual. Should I just try to save in increments and get that 3S-GE motor or try to work some magic and make a b20 swap in the celica and save myself a ton of money but do a ton of work?

I think the logical choice would be save for the 3S-GE. However, the fun choice would be the B20. Much more aftermarket support for that B20 as well. Just make sure the money you have to put into making the B20 fit doesn't surpass the cost of the 3S-GE. Good luck!

I have another question about an engine swap if anyone could help I have an opportunity to get a early 90s Camry with a v6 the car is shit but the engine is still in good shape. I’m wondering how much modification I would have to do for the engine mounts to make it fit in my 1991 Celica Convertible. The engine mounts are the same part number and the engine bay looks close on both cars
