I know that he OEM alternator is 80amp rated. Does any one know of a
company makes an oversized alternator for our cars ???

A direct bolt-on replacement that's like 150amp rated ?

Check Mean Green Alternators...they make high amp alternators...not sure if they make it for our cars though thumbsup

I'm pretty sure that no one makes a HO replacment alternator for our cars. If you find one, let me know! I think that if you want to get more out put from your charging system, you will need to get your factory alternator re-wound. It would probably cost around $75 to modify the factory alternator for more power.

Mean Green makes alternators for domestics, with very few import apps.

In fact, doing a search for high powered alternators will net you results for mostly SUV/4x4 applications.

Yeah I'm already getting a cap and a optima battery. I'm just keeping my options open in case I kill my alternator.
