any one knows what happpens when you get a second ticket for having a exhaust on your car. i have a Thermal one that i took off a year ago because of a f**K up high way patrol, but now i want to put it back on. what happens if i happen to get pull over for it again. will it just be another fixing ticket or what? i heard that they may tow your car because that is the second time, but don't know. any answers or comments would help me decide if i should put it back on or no. thanks

with your last ticket, with it a fix-it-ticket? and did you have CHP investigate your car to check for any violations - and then sign your fix-it-ticket that no violations were noticed during the inspection...
is so - then you should be just fine.
...
or was it an actual moving violation that was given to you?
If you get too many tickets for the same thing and you apear in front of a judge, that judge might not be so happy seeing as though you've been asked SEVERAL times to correct a problem - but you fail to do anything about it.

Which from what I hear is pretty damn loud! You can have a 10 inch tip there if you wanted to as long as it is NOT harmful to other drivers, etc... but you get my point

dB Sound 0 threshold of hearing 10 pin dropping at 10 m 20 soft whisper 30 library 40 quiet conversation 42 my computer 50 normal conversation 60 a busy office 70 vacuum cleaner 80 inside a small car 90 lawn mower 95 legal exhaust (at 20 inches) 100 large orchestra 110 rock music 120 boom stereo in car 130 earphones up loud/ jet plane 140 air raid siren 150 military rifle
I think cops might have a sound measurer to check it you're legal. I would guess that sound intensity varies with the inverse square of the distance from which it is measured.
Every 10 dB up is 10 times as much power. The unit bel is named after Alexander Graham Bell and was invented at Bell labs.
