Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Fog light question

Ok so I have the standard fog lights that came with the car...it also came with the trd body kit which has the cutout for the trd fogs. My question is: were I to buy the trd lights, would I still be able to use the original fog light harnesses on those? I ask that question because I dont know if their capatable to each other and also because the light controls already have the fog switch built in, as opposed to installing a fog switch on the console where the alarm system and window is. Any info would really help.

Not sure where you can get them honestly, although I have heard of others using Walmart fogs for a similar effect. With genuine TRD fog lights, I do believe you will need a wiring harness and likely a switch.

Damn...ill look I to it more. The only issue with a new switch is that my alarm is in its spot as it were. Lol its never easy

Wait, now I feel dumb...I just realized while leaving work that there's 2 more slots for switches below that 😐

Anyway...guess ill look into keeping my old ones as well as trd style ones. I think thatd be cool.

You just need to get the trd bumper fog lights and its just plug and play.
You cant get new ones only used ones or buy fog lights that look the same as the original (made in china)
not sure where you would get them in the US
