Honestly it would be to much of a PITA to go to a 2ZZ-FE engine with your auto transmission. You are better off finding another 1ZZ-FE at a junk yard and do a straight swap. this would be the most cost effective option.
Quoted from Monkeywrench in regards to Engine swap to 2ZZ-GE to a Auto
"Your GT is an automatic? That’s trouble. The GT and GTS use completely different automatic transwmissions. You can’t run a GT auto trans with a GTS ECU. Even if you get a GTS auto trans you still have some serious wiring problems. You’re best off sticking with a 1ZZ engineor tackling the difficult job of converting your car to 2ZZ manual. 2ZZ automatics are generally no faster than 1ZZ automatics anyway."
Thank you for the replies, So far looking for my engine is..well difficult haha, been to 2 auto wreckers and they both had none.Gonna keep trying I love my car, even though it is an auto :P
