Up for sale today is a rare Toyota Celica TRD GT. According to Toyota of Canada, only sixteen of these were sold in Canada between 2001 and 2005. The TRD package was a $2900 option in 2003. It consists of a bigger rear spoiler, a body kit, and a completely redesigned front bumper.
Also on this car is the Panasonic Edition (only available in Canada) which added a six speaker 290 watt stereo system, although the original Panasonic head unit has been replaced with a modern Kenwood mp3/cd/usb/aux head unit in May 2016. Plus the inside has a red accented steering wheel, red accented seats , red accented door panels and red accented floor mats.
The car is the 1.8L 4 cylinder 1ZZ-FE with VVT-i and a 4-speed automatic. About 30MPG. Or $50 to fill.
This car is in great shape. I would say 8/10 for both interior and exterior. Only two owners and I have the maintenance history from the original owner.
Power windows, central locking, AC/heat all work. I replaced the front pads / rotors and 4 struts in May 2016. The rear brakes were replaced in Sept 2015. Front calipers were replaced in Oct 2018
The car is inspected till May 2019 currently.
