Hello! This is my first post here as well as any forum in general, so I apologize if I do anything wrong.

I'm 18 and just bought a 93 Celica GT for my first car. The steering wheel is ah... pretty unsightly, so I'd like to change it without losing the airbag. I got the idea from reddit that I may be able to use a g7 wheel without much fuss, but I'm very new to all of this and i'm finding it hard to research because most threads I find are on g6 celicas. Alternatively, aftermarket wheels that fit and also have an airbag are fine too, but I could only find racing wheels with no airbag.

So, is this swap possible? If so, do I need to buy any extra adapters or something similar? Some old threads had links to I think it was called an SRS harness, but the links were dead. My father is an electrician and will be helping me with wiring when I get to that stage, but I'd like to learn as much as I can beforehand because I will be dailying this car.

Hey man, welcome! I'm 18 as well so its good to see others my age helping to keep the forums alive. I did some digging for you and found this guide, seems pretty thorough:

Let me know if I can be of any more assistance.
