Happy new year! I bought a 2001 GT 2 days ago. After getting it home, checking the engine bay I noticed a black sensor disconnected (A).
After asking around and doing some research I've been told that blue (B) does not belong in this input. I was told Blue goes to the VSV (C inside D) and black goes there. This hold true to what videos i've seen on youtube. However every time I try to clip the black one there's a orange nipple inside that prevents it from clipping correctly, not a reliable fit.
Side note last owner had done the butterfly delete mod. Now, when i went down to get to the VSV(C) i found that there was already a sensor input filled. In this pic you can barely see but theres a black connector inputted where arrow D points.
Not only that the blue one did not appropriately fit (Look at what arrow D is pointing at).
it is possible there was an additional modification done because VSV valve is ziptied to another hose? I just want to reconnect my wiring harness to stock because the car is running real bad.
