Hey guys,

2zzge 1999 with 190km's manual.

Recently I had a service. Got the waterpump replaced and all fluids. The car seems to vibrate when moving through revs, it is a lot rougher overall, especially at 2.5l once you're past 2.5k revs it drops off a bit but from 2.2 up to 2.5 it gets progressively noisier/vibrates. The car seems rougher since the service transmission flush, although it was fine just afterwards.

Car seems overall noiser than before the service - before the service it was very quiet.

I tested it disengaged from the clutch at 2.5k and it's less rattly.

Other noticable changes are that it revs higher at startup when cold (1.8k revs).

Oil is fine 5w30, Coolant is fine too - though the mechanic seems to have flushed and filled with green instead of red.
Not sure exactly what it could be, I'm thinking maybe wrong viscosity of trans fluid?

Any ideas?

Mine did this too - rattle from 2 to 2.5k rpm when in gear.
Turns out I had managed to pop a metal line (brake fluid, i guess) out of its bracket, maybe try checking that.
I found it on the under body, pretty much under the passengers foot well.

Its a long shot but it sounds familiar, good luck!
