I just picked up a 2000 GT on Saturday, and it has a few things wrong, but one that is a focus for me is the trans. It pops out of 4th gear quite frequently. I've read that it's either syncros, or possibly the shifter bushing. I'd like to start with the shifter bushing, however I can't find the exact part I need. Does anyone have any suggestions? I can't find anything from kumosport.

I should probably say my other issues - a wheel bearing and possibly the harmonic balancer. That pulley is very wobbly.

I'm really looking forward to being part of this forum!

Thank you!

Here's the car.

Hey, welcome!

Here's some shifter cable bushings that should work:

You may be able to find them at a better price if you look around. Just know that if that doesn't fix your issue, then it probably is the synchros. Can I ask how many miles are on it?

Good luck and enjoy.

The body has 180k on it, the engine and trans have around 120k on them. I appreciate the link, i'll definitely look into those.
