Hey there!

I've been reading many posts inside this forum lately mainly because I decided to purchase a used Toyota Celica 2003.
However, it kind of confuses me when it comes to differences between years. Therefore I decided to ask you guys for your help.

I am going to post some photos of the car I'm propably going to buy and I would like you to let me know whether it's the 2003 model or an older one.

Also, any extra information regarding my purchase, whether it's for this certain car or any other one, will be appreciated!

Hey, welcome!

Based on your photos, that Celica is a pre-facelift model. In our community...

Pre-facelift = 1999-2002
Facelift= 2003-2006

Differences come in the radio, interior color, front bumper, tail lights, gauge cluster, and a few other items.

Let me know if I can be of more help!

I guess though that it's not the 2002 model because of the Rev limi being at 8200(based on the cluster) right?
Also, as far as I know based on photos around the net, 03+ rear lights are like the ones on the car I show you while the older ones are more rectangular...
All in all, do you find any disadvantages or any reason to stay away from it? It has 120.000km.

Thanks for your time!
