Recently, after arriving at my parking and before I turned off the engine, I noticed a weird ticking noise coming out of my engine. I immediately opened the hood and recorded it. For me it sounds like it's coming from the valves. However, I went to my mechanic and had him hear it. He told me there is no reason to panic and that the noise is propably coming from the part that the chain slides to. I do not know how it's called in English but I guess you get it. I wonder though why it's heard only when I've driven the car and it gets hot. The noise is not there when I first start the engine.. Do you have any idea?
