So I have a TRD write off. I tried to sell some parts but the deals never went through so I decided to use my TRD cluster in my own Celica. I also bought a steel bezel and dial rings on Amazon. See attached pics.

Now the problem I have is that since I installed the new cluster the car refuses to go into manual shift mode, and in fact it seems to shift much slower. The original TRD Celica had a C60 manual gearbox but it was busted in the accident and it being a magnesium ally it was not easy t fix. A new one costs about $3000 and landed in Zimbabwe it would be twice that so its really not an option.

Anyone got any ideas?
