I have no idea what you just said.
Your stock battery will be fine. YOu don't need a racing battery. Just don't play your system without the engine running for very long.

Also, U can purchase a capacitor & hook it up between the battery & the amp(preferably closer to the amp) that way your lights won't dim when U hit that bass. Alternator & battery will last longer too.

he is talking about the old optima battery, it looked like a 6pack if you looked at the bottom part of it only

I'm not sure what you're trying to accomplish...do you want a lightweight racing battery for actual racing? Or do you want something to help your stereo? From what I've seen, you can't have both.

Optima Yellow tops are for cars with items that strain the the battery like sound systems.
Optima Red tops are for cars that need a lot of crank start power.
I believe both batteries will start the car even when dead.

I'm pushing a 1000watt amp with my stock battery and everything is fine. But if you wish to spend your money on that, then go for it.

From what I've seen, you can't have both. yes you can, all you need is a gel-cel battery, which the optima is. i had a stinger battery in an old car i had, was the power of more than 2 optima batteries. cost $250, you could literally arc weld with it and i had a big stereo with it also. i changed the battery back to stock when i sold the car and i needed to get a new starter, the old one was shot, but the battery just pushed the current through anyways
