Hi,

I opened unlocked my Celica yesterday with the fob and the sidelights and headlights started to flash as if the alarm was on. I tried to lock and unlock it with both the keys and the fob but it would not stop. The car starts fine but when I open the doors the flashing starts again. Here are some links

Are your driver/passenger doors or trunk fully closed?

Is your alarm a Genuine Toyota alarm installed by the dealership, or was it installed after the vehicle was purchased?

Have you checked your interior fuses (passenger footwall) for one that may have blown.

Does your battery have corrosion on it? If so, how bad is it?
When was the last time you replaced your car battery?
Does your car start up snappy, or weak, as if your alternator is providing all the work?

EDIT:
Have you tried disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes, and then reconnecting it? As an attempt to "reset" your alarm/system
