Vinyl Wrap Questions.

I was wanting to know if I could vinyl wrap my own car, my car as some paint chips and the front end is looking not bad, but it could need some work, anyone have tips to vinyl wrap, i have seen many threads to this, some have helped but i want to think about it more... suggestions?

Not gonna lie, I looked at this post and passed it without responding a few times but I've gotten curious now. I'm in the same boat with my paint being okay, but less than perfect. Have you learned anything yet?

Me too, I was hoping someone had the same experience and has done this to their car. I have not learned anything yet, first thing i want to know is the cost

Well I am having a guy wrap my car for me with iridesent wrap and I think he said it would cost me about 1000 to 1500 to do my whole car but I'm doing it in pieces and will have some body mods on it as well.

I'm doing the HOOD only because the paint is peeling. I sanded down smooth to primer coat using 100, 320 and 600 grits in order. The shop told me $200 for a solid color and $250 for carbon-fiber which I would prefer.
What other parts of body do you guys think should be wrapped? Mirrors, gas cap, rear spoiler,... or just the hood only?
