Hi, my 2001 GTS (Manual Transmission) has this strange issue. When I upshift, especially in lower gears (1 to 2, 2 to 3), after I release the clutch and as soon as it starts to re-engage, I can hear a tiny high pitch squeaky sound coming from the front. Also the sound is accompanied by the rpm fluctuating up and down for a few hundreds rpm. The rpm stabilizing after like 1 second and the squeak goes away. Almost like a turbo whistle (but much less loud). The squeaky sound also appears when the car is moving with engine in low rpm (~1k rpm) in slightly bumpy roads. I am quite sure it's not a suspension problem since the sound goes away as soon as I press the clutch or coast in neutral.

Manual Transmission was recently replaced [Mobil 1 Synthetic Gear Oil (75W-90)]. Mechanic said clutch was in good shape --- the biting point is still quite low.

Does anybody have a similar problem? Any idea what causes this issue?

Thanks!
