I've tried searching old threads but nothing really answers my question. I picked up some Tein springs to lower my 03 GT but realized I'd blow my worn stock struts.
Looking into what struts to replace them with I was going to try and find Tokico HPs but can't find them anywhere for a normal price.
Am I supposed to be trying to search for Celica specific struts or are they universal? Are there any alternatives?

I had an issue finding Tokico's too.

Struts/shocks will be specific. A lot of people on the forum (including myself) have gone with the KYB AGX, as it is basically a damper-adjustable upgrade to the stock suspension. It can handle up to a 1.5" drop from stock spring height. (Tein S-tech is 1.4" drop so you will be fine). Any lower, cost goes up; you might as well get coilovers.
