Hi everyone, just brought this car and although it's a lovely car, I have discovered it has a fault code P1349 VVT SYSTEM MALFUNCTION BANK 1
Does any one know what it means and is it serious?

P1349 - VVT System Malfunction (Bank 1):
- Valve Timing
- OCV
- VVT controller assembly
- ECM

Hi there, I had a P1349 code come up on my car, got told it was the vvt solenoid so replaced that along with the small filter, cleared the code but after an hour of casual driving, the same code pops up? Does anyone have any clue what it is before I start buying new bits I don't actually need?

Yes, I'm going to try and reset the CPU by disconnecting the battery but not too sure what the rest actually is lol
